      Pros

      Great co-workers - when they stay. There is a sense of purpose - to put out a high quality product, and cover the news.

      Cons

      Constant cuts in staffing, micro-management, no open communication, lack of support from management, expecting too much from employees, unrealistic goals, no salary increases in 10 years, everything focused on spreadsheets, the list goes on and on.

      Pros

      I worked for a team with a phenomenal manager who was awesome at managing up as well as down.

      Cons

      The Detroit based section of the company I worked for was as unstable as any company can be. I believed they were in a transition and heading in a positive direction, but it didn't take long to figure out they were floundering; being pulled in too many directions... kind of felt like a multi-headed beast.
