Pros
-First development role and learned a lot. -The majority of coworkers are extremely helpful (specifically those that are not a part of the old guard)
Cons
-Extremely low salary compared to the rest of the industry -High turnover -Terrible work/life balance if you are on the BI team. I was expected to work nights and weekends without this being conveyed during the interview process -Poor communications between Product Managers for different teams which lead to major bugs -US development teams are short-staffed and thus difficult to address issues unless you are working outside designated work hours -Big talk about diversity and inclusion but the majority of engineering managers are men and very little in the way of diversity (even with the numbers of new hires and talk of acquisitions/growth) -Poor team bonding, managers only saw us as a resource and there was very little in the way of a pulse check of the team
