Great co-workers, terrible management

Pros

Co-workers are often fun, helpful and engaging. Work from home

Cons

Lackluster pay, even for the area. No real opportunities for advancements or promotions. Management consists of the same people just trading titles back and forth. One week someone is a manager, but it turns out they don't know what they're doing, so next week they're a director of something else. No one actually has any qualifications, it's just rearranging deck chairs. Imagine "reporting" to someone who isn't even qualified to have your current job.

I find purpose in my work and enjoy it

Pros

I like the people I work with. I like the work I do I work remotely. I feel like I'm making a difference by helping clients that are in some form of healthcare.

Cons

Priorities tend to change frequently when new mandates come out. It can be stressful work when deadlines are always close.

Pros

The people are great. It's a small company where everyone can feel valued. It's easy to take on additional responsibility. There is a lot of flexibility that allows for work/life balance.

Cons

It's difficult to remove a hat after putting it on. Workload fluctuates a lot, and is often less than engaging.
