Pros

The company itself provides good health insurance to its customers, and the job is pretty stable. The work is easy, and since management is just happy to have warm bodies in seats, you would have to try to get fired. The compensation is on par for Cleveland, which is a LCOL area. This would be a great first job for a college grad.

Cons

Because the company is based in Cleveland, the pay is far below industry standards- engineers with 5+ years of experience are making less than most interns in larger tech markets. Working for MMO feels like a government job in that pay is based on tenure, leaving very little motivation for employees to do more than the bare minimum. The culture itself is the worst I've encountered. There is a shocking lack of communication and both middle management and team leads protect employees that say and do things that are wildly inappropriate for the workplace. The whole atmosphere feels like a group of people who gave up years ago and are just waiting their time out until retirement. I seriously considered turning in my equipment and walking out halfway through my first in-office day. I started looking for a new job after the first week.
