Communication and operational organization are horrible here. Departments and managers are constantly engaging in political turf wars because communication is lacking or there is a lack of clearly defined policies. Medicity seems to pay below fair market value for a lot of their jobs. However, this seems to be turning around since their acquisition by Aetna. There is no focus on career growth and planning. There is no process for offering new job opportunities to internal employees before posting job openings to the general public. If you want to climb the ladder here, you are left to your own devices and will have to keep your eye on the public job board.

• Review of claim documents submitted by the members. • Achieve productivity and quality objectives. • Handle client calls, mails with regards to the insurance policy queries, complaints etc. • Maintain records of approval issued. • Explain terms and conditions to the client. • Verify the claim request. • Analyze the details and process payments or deny the claim on the grounds of the set standards.
