Great culture, opportunities to move to different departments if you are liked by management

Cons

If you like working 50 hours a week for next to nothing this is the place for you. Constantly putting on new training classes due to the high turnover. If they spent some money and raised the salaries while giving their employees an opportunity to grow, this might make for a better environment. Instead they target college grads who will work for next to nothing on a dream of making big money. Truth is, a very small percentage of the company make it big. The rest are just trying to survive.

There were a lot of opportunities for advancement. (Maybe still are? I don't know, I'm not there anymore) Great people, good culture, competitive atmosphere.

Cons

Layoffs happened in April. A lot of people who worked here for a long time were laid off. 2020 is a really bad time for a lot of companies, not just Medicus. There were obviously COVID-related issues were very out of Medicus' control, and unfortunately positions were terminated based on what upper management thought of them. It's so hard because there's the saying "It's not personal, it's just business" but at Medicus, everything feels personal, because everyone is so close.

extremely cliquey, no work life balance, the adults running the place are like teenagers in high school and thrive off drama.
