Pros
The team is great and employees are there for each other. For someone early in their career, there is significant opportunity for lateral movement within the company and between various departments.
Cons
There is an overall management problem where important issues are rarely addressed and often times employees find themselves in tough situations due to poor planning by their superiors. There is virtually no possibility of moving upwards within the company as managerial positions are nearly always filled externally rather than employees being promoted upwards.
