Not Bad?

Pros

- Decent salary if you’re just starting out and have no kids or major financial responsibilities - “take it or leave it” type of benefits (coffee machines, socials, gym) mostly just meh on impact - personal office space - lax dress code

Cons

- promotion is not based on performance. I was outperforming my peers and promotions were a time based thing NOT performance. Was doing significantly more than when I first started for a period of time without increase in pay. When I brought this up I was told to “be patient” - too many good people who genuinely like the company are terrified they will get fired on a whim mostly because it has happened in the past with mass firings - horrible maternity leave and benefits. I’m still on my parents but was intrigued to see if it was something I could look into to start getting on my own… well let’s say I’m still on my parents. Crazy expensive! Maternity leave is very poor for a company with “lactation rooms” - you’ll get better benefits if you quit and work at Starbucks for a little - managers aren’t allowed to tell you if you’re on track for a promotion or not - hard to use skills for a different job

The updated badge system was installed to provide additional levels of safety and security for employees. In addition, we review benefits regularly to ensure we are competitive within the industry and geographically. We acknowledge that Medpace is not a fit for everyone, and we are okay with that. Every employee has different needs, and it is unrealistic to think we can meet all of them. However, we always try our best to make every employee feel valued and satisfied in their position at the organization.
