- Not able to work from home - Must use PTO for jury duty - Salaried employees must log time in the system if they leave without putting in an 8.5 hour day - Little room for advancement - Terrible maternity leave: 6 weeks at 60%, 6 weeks unpaid - Vacation is fully available on January 1 of each year, but if you go on short-term disability (such as maternity leave), your vacation will be manually removed by HR while you are out, as HR says you can't accrue vacation during short-term disability leave - even though your vacation is fully available to use on January 1 each year. Similarly, if you leave the company mid-year and used all of your vacation, Medpace requires you to pay back the vacation you didn't "accrue," even though it was fully available for use on January 1.
