Okay, but stressful

Pros

The company values, even if not always represented at the store level are well intended. The work was simple if not very labour intensive. Could get very good checks due to almost always getting lots of overtime

Cons

Almost always had to work lots of overtime. I regularly worked 55 to 60 hour weeks all of which was spent stocking shelves or breaking down trucks, all while managing a team. The work often felt insurmountable. As the overnight leader, I would be expected to hand off a perfect store, and expected to stay if there were problems. The rest of the stores leadership seemed to have no accountability held over them, even in cases where their negligence harmed the business.
