Team member wages aren’t keeping up with other retailers so turnover is high and we can’t replace people as quickly as we lose them to competitors that pay slightly more. They also need to let people know they still qualify for subsidized insurance if they aren’t full time status but average over 34 hours per week. When open enrollment comes around employees who really want or need insurance are not properly informed by leadership that they are even eligible to apply let alone that they can still qualify for lower cost insurance because they are averaging the amount of hours that qualify for “part time with subsidy” benefits. In turn, people leave for other places thinking it’s the only option they have to prioritize their healthcare but really are just simply being misinformed.
Departments that require more than one TL tend to have communication problems and compete with one another rather than work together.
