Pros

Lots of room to grow in the company and you can be a superstar if you're willing to work hard and be competent at any type of technology. Idaho Falls is a beautiful location a 2 hr drive to Yellowstone and Teton national parks. Tip: Be very very picky about who your manager is because the promotion and bonus system is very painful and make sure to negotiate the heck out of your starting salary because it is challenging to earn a salary increase (no standardized performance requirements it's 100% your manager batting for you).

Cons

Systems and processes are antiquated (think lots of paper pushing, no standardized applications/tech between departments). Company is very nervous about transparency and criticism (I doubt they'll leave this review) and is built around the production lines, shipping dept, and call center so if you're used to a company that is built around admin departments it will be a culture shock and can feel condescending (ex: you get a piece of meat for your Christmas company gift no inclusive options for vegan, vegetarian, hallal folks or a free snack from the cafe as the department employee of the month, insurance premiums aren't included as a part of your compensation).

Pros

I really enjoyed the people I worked with (not management). I also got exposure to tons of different aspects of Supply Chain because we were expected to wear so many hats and do so much.

Cons

Management is not transparent. Had a friend fired and they told everybody in the department that he "resigned", and that if we were asked, we should "tell people he resigned." They are not transparent on how to gain promotions. They will not give raises to keep up with cost of living. They refused to change bonus metrics when Covid hit, causing us all to make thousands less in 2020. Despite all of that, long hours over 40/week are expected. In sum - large workload with very poor reward. But sometimes we get a "good job!" and told how much money the company is making.

Pros

-Great benefits -Really decent healthcare plan. -Excellent coworkers

Cons

-Aggressively underpaid compared to the industry standard. -Lack of transparency including but not limited to with executive level staffing changes. -In the Marketing or special events department you SHOULD expect to be pulled off your work projects to work for the Republican Party or a project for one of Frank’s side businesses or one of his children’s businesses. -CEO surrounds himself with yesmen and has an extraordinary level of involvement in the most minor of things. Because he is involved in too many things this can grind everything to a halt. Progress is slow and getting him to listen to opinions other than his own is very difficult. -The company speaks out of both sides of its mouth. Work/life balance is discussed as being a priority but it’s not recognized. Many people nearly live in their offices due to short staffing. Losing one person at the office almost felt fatal with the amount of work. Then it would take months to get approval for that person to be replaced only to find out Frank didn’t like their Wonderlic test score so we passed on that candidate.
