Pros

Amazing people. Constantly surrounded by a plethora of talent. I always enjoyed coming and working with my peers.

Cons

All too often, I felt I wasn't valued and the company just wanted a body to fill a seat. You get rewarded for performance right after a meeting where recognition is talked about, then you are forgotten until the next meeting. Pay is always said to be "the best in the area" unless you actually start looking outside and realize it's mediocre at best.

Pros

Great products and you get $80 of them for free which really is amazing. Some good leadership.

Cons

I have worked at Melaleuca for a long time now. I won't say exactly how long but long enough to have seen the mighty fall. I decided to stay with the company as a career years ago when I fell in love with the fact that the company backed up their motto. "Enhancing the lives of those we touch by helping people reach their goals." I can sadly say I no longer feel that is true. The company is more interested in their bottom line than actually enhancing the lives of their employees. Working conditions have decreased significantly due to a lack of staff. We keep being told that things will get better but they don't. Associates are told they will get training time from supervisors but due to staffing restrictions that rarely happens. Supervisors whose prime responsibility is training and motivating their teams spend a significant time on the phones themselves because there aren't enough people to handle the call volume. Ever since the new CFO came on the scene to many things have gone through that reduce peoples ability to do their jobs or even know how to do their jobs that I can't recommend working for this company anymore.
