Pros

Autonomy: - I have the ability to look into projects that are interesting to me, and own the process of the projects. - As a Financial Analyst I have presented findings from my projects to Sr. Management that have driven business decisions and outcomes. Engaging Work: - The financial analysis group is considered a strategy arm, and not a reporting arm for the company. This leads to engaging work in a variety of ways. We ensure the correct customer programs are in place to deliver exceptional value to the customers, our sales partners, and Melaleuca corporate. Team Members: - The Melaleuca Finance team is the brightest team I have worked with in my career. The technical and emotional skill set is unmatched. Each team member is willing to share insights and help you build up your skill set. Benefits: - Concierge... I have not wasted time getting an oil change since I started at Melaleuca. This has been an awesome service. Oil changes, dry cleaning, grocery pick ups helps give you more time and makes life more convenient. - There is a 401K Match - Health Insurance is affordable, and premiums are stable and do not experience major increases. No increase for 2019. - Typically offered BYU football/basketball tickets or Utah Jazz tickets once or twice a year

Cons

Demanding: - Sometimes big projects with quick deadlines come up, and as a result you are expected to work the hours to accomplish these tasks. If you are willing to put the work in, these can end up being good experiences. Melaleuca is not a place you come to coast.

Pros

Hard to list them all! I have worked with and for major tech companies throughout my 20 year IT career. None of them compare to Melaleuca. Melaleuca is a multi-billion international enterprise that has some amazing technology needs, and I get to work with all of them. I am not stoved piped into a function where I am doing the same thing every day. As new challenges are presented, I get to explore and build the solutions that are the right fit for Melaleuca. Benefits are awesome, Melaleuca has an amazing onsight restaurant that has a real Chef, onsight gym, a service that will run errands for you. Huge focus on doing the right thing and taking care of people, not just our own customers. World Class products that are safe for my family and the environment. I have been promoted and received good raises over the years. Management is fair and appreciative when they see results from hard work. I hope that this is the last company I ever work for.

Cons

No place is perfect. If I had to come up with a con I would say that if you are the type of person that wants to settle into a job and do the least amount possible you would feel out of place. Melaleuca has accomplished great things by not sitting around. IT is a fast paced environment that has to keep pace with the speed of business technology in 19 different countries. Normal growing pains exist but are usually addressed in an appropriate timeframe. With growth comes new technology challenges, and Melaleuca is growing fast so you can’t be afraid of hard work.

Pros

I have been with Melaleuca for 13 years, and I have truly enjoyed my decision to work here. I was originally introduced to Melaleuca through a university career fair, began working for them upon graduation, and have stayed with them ever since. There are a number of reasons why I decided to come to work at Melaleuca over other companies and why I continue to stay year after year: The company has a purpose. The company truly believes in, and lives, its mission statement of changing lives. We don’t simply build and ship exceptional, world-class consumer products, we provide an opportunity for people to take control of their own future and change it for the better. Advancement opportunities. Over my career with Melaleuca, I have been given incredible opportunities to learn new skills and develop new talents. With those opportunities have come career advancements. Melaleuca prides itself in promoting within and helping employees to grow into new roles and responsibilities. Involvement. In starting out my career, I didn’t want to go to a company where it would take me years to be given my first opportunity to have in impact and make decisions. My first role gave me empowerment and the ability to control the future of the company within my area of assignment. No matter what level you are at in the company, everyone has the opportunity to be involved, make an impact, and have a positive effect on the company. There is a great team attitude and everyone is working together to help the company be successful. Everyone helps to make the company successful. This includes executive management taking phone orders when things get busy or setting up chairs for a meeting. Everyone rolls up their sleeves and makes sure that our customers are taken care of. I am looking forward to working with Melaleuca for many years to come.

Cons

As noted above, there is a very strong culture of everyone being involved. This means that those individuals who don’t have the attitude of team work and helping out, may not fit it.
