Pros

Our CEO continues to be dedicated to making sure salaries are competitive and has at times provided increases outside of annual raises in order to do so!

Cons

The bar is set very high, but is that really a con?

Pros

As a BCBA who has worked at other companies, Melmark is the most organized school that has systems in place to ensure students success. The ABA counselors are well trained and are amazing in supporting our lead teachers and students- they don’t just hire anybody. Melmark has allowed me to grow my skills as a BCBA due to the structured systems in place and the continued monitoring of student progress. The work load can be challenging at times, but we are well compensated for what we do and has pays more than any other company I have worked at as a BCBA. Those in upper management play an active role and have all had direct experience working as a direct care staff.

Cons

Can be challenging to balance the workload during busier seasons

Pros

Loved my coworkers Loved the kids Loved the building

Cons

I don’t like that the only way they allow you to become a BCBA through them is by getting a masters degree in special education. That is just not the only way to become a BCBA.

For our employees whose professional development plan includes attainment of the BCBA credential, there are varying options for degree specialty even within our partner programs. Our tuition assistance benefit through our partner programs is a highly competitive benefit that many of our employees take advantage of!
