Pros

People there are very caring, considerate, respectful. I really enjoy working here and I think it will be a great place to move up over several years.

Cons

The best things about Memorial is also one of its biggest detractors. There are a lot of people who have made Memorial their career and have not had any experiences outside of there. Lots of folks that have spent 20 to 40 years there. That gives people a great historical perspective of the organization but also gets in the way to doing new things because that "isn't how we've always done it".

Pros

Heathcare coverage & PTO are excellent.

Cons

Overwhelming work load, often no breaks & long shifts. Management only gives lip service to correcting the problem & ultimately does nothing about it. Very critical of job performance, despite the understaffing.

The benefits package is competitive, compensation is fair. The hospital utilizes the latest technologies, it is a good place for clinical practice.

Cons

They are focused on profit more than caring for patients or employees. Senior management are mostly male and are very greedy and judgemental. Many female leadership members have been ousted through the last few years.
