The People are Great to work with!

Cons

Policies implemented by administration are not practiced before implemented and are not always ideal. Administration does not care about this fact, even though employees have brought to attention on what does work, and what will work.

Pros

Lots of hard working people. Usually a clean environment. Food is very good. Parking isnt too bad. Lots of changes.

Cons

For a "Non-profit" organization, profitability is king and corporate greed has run amok. Pay is not what it should be and benefits are either non existant or too expensive. Employee and patient care is not as important as financial aspects. Hospitalist system is good for the doctors and the $ counters, but is a nightmare for staff and inexcusable treatment of patients. If we cant care for the patients, then why are we even here?

Great staff, poor management.

Decent pay, benefits, good clinical staff. Computer charting & order entry.

Cons

Understaffed. Indifferent upper management will not listen to needs of those "in the trenches". Difficult to provide decent patient care due to work load. Constantly being called to come in on days off due to understaffing. The image portrayed to the public is not the reality within.
