Great facilities, very smart personnel, interactions between grad students and postdocs between different labs.

Cons

Very competitive environment. PIs are generally are not very helpful to postdocs when it comes to job search.

It is really good benefits, reputation, and available resources to have . There are scientific environment and good communication between employee and employer

As a research technician, salary is quite good enough compared to other hospitals and college / university. But still needed more for a family

It has one of the better health benefits around. It also has many departments in order for you to expand your horizon

Cons

Considering the fact that it resides in Manhattan, it is indeed a trip to make it to the cancer center if you are commuting from outside Manhattan or in Jersey.
