Pros

-If you grind here you will be set for life in the realm of tech sales but you have to dedicate yourself to improving your craft while being open to learning from top performers -Public Sector is the strongest office and emerging business unit -Ron Cooke is my lifelong mentor I was one of the first BDRs on his PubSec team and his mentorship and advice still holds true to my career since I have progressed - It is important to align yourself with members in leadership who will have your growth in mind and vouch for your hard work - Managing and working with the most elite SDEs at one point truly fostered a culture of excellence and collaboration while also exposing me to 1. Strong personalities 2. Best practice across tech vertical outbound campaigns -At a young age you will be able to gain leadership experience and it will be challenging but you will learn a lot - Operations team is the best, Tiffany Tran and Nina were always there to help and work with tech difficulties and check-in with you even when things get tough - If you get Ben Hunter as your academy leader you’re in amazing hands

Cons

- Not too much to say, wish I could have contributed more/aligned my vision of PPM with the direction of the company -We ran a special project where our SDEs were sourcing meetings for academy and instead of routing leads to AEs sometimes would be routing them to someone with NO closing experience in their life, who then blamed our team for not helping close business when they would hop on the call and read off a script on the screen without establishing next steps or tangible follow up. It was interesting as they are in charge of training and development.. + felt it undervalued the hard work the team was producing.

Pros

As an entry level employee with no sales background I never could have imagined that I would be leading my own team 15 months later. Putting the value on training, development, and growth has put me into a position to consistently ask questions and learn everyday which is very refreshing.

Cons

The pay is no secret but if you truly value mB for the opportunity that it provides for your future you are in a great position.

Pros

Like most opportunities in life, you'll get out what you put in. This remains true at memoryBlue. They do an amazing job of training people to begin their careers in tech sales and give opportunities for internal promotion to employees willing to put in the effort.

Cons

Lower than average starting base pay but quickly scale up and opportunities for bonuses at start.
