A good start in sales

Pros

Great for learning how to talk to people, gain confidence in presenting ideas and options for customers, learn responsibility and accountability with real consequences, and a good employee discount. Also great for networking. You can spend up to 2 hours with a customer, and opportunities will present themselves often.

Cons

Sales job, not sales pay. Not commission based (anymore), but still requires workers to hit sales goals, backend sell. No incentives for big sales or large volumes, and no bonuses either. Can get paid the same amount as someone who sells half the volume you do.
