Pros

1) Decent pay at the entry-level. 2) Good retention bonus. Starts at 2.5% in your first year and increases 2.5% each year thereafter to a max of 15.0%. I think this is managers only, though.

Cons

1) Crappy benefits and John Menard is the 37th richest person in the United States. He's sitting on $20.7 billion but has healthcare with a high deductible and max-out of pocket. There's also no 401k profit match. That's ridiculous right there for the amount of money he has available. 2) The store I worked at, Germantown, had people with no social skills. It's hard to explain, but people don't talk to each other much. They literally just walk by. I didn't take this personally. It was just weird. I'm not an extrovert and I had to start conversations to get to know people. Odd when you're the new guy. People were nice. Just odd. Never seen anything like it before.

Didn’t like the stocking aspect and the way you were monitored every second as management
