Pros

Great pay, started out $1.55 over minimum plus an additional $2.50 per hour on the weekends, and being paid every week was great. 10cent raises every 3 months. It may not seem like a lot, but it adds up fast. Great co-workers.

Cons

Can't get your hours changed (as a college student and part time employee I wanted a few less hours during the semester and that simply did not fly) Why I feel I got the short end of the stick: (these may not be issues at other stores) The GM at the store I worked for was extremely rude and demeaning. Multiple managers for the same department were never on the same page as to what basic procedure and protocol was. Promotions went to "favorites" instead of being based on experience and ability.

Cons

The only challenge is your ability to complete the work.

Pros

Profit sharing Coworkers 10% discount on stuff at stores

Cons

Worst job of my life. moved from dept manager to corporate. Bad move. Not worth the money for the stress. Have recently lost lots of people at headquarters . Most everyone here hates there job and is trying to get out. Constantly put down by upper management i kid you not, you will be called f***ing stupid, told you will be demoted to secretaries, car washers or send to distribution center to drive fork lifts. Try to keep you there by holding 30% of your money. You think it will get better but it doesn't. No loyalty to employees. Managers was fired because they sold took much during a sale. Constant paranoia about being fired so people become backstabbers so they don't get fired.
