Pros

Simple labor, easy to be promoted - especially if willing to relocate. Lot's of managerial positions seem to be available as well.

Cons

Their idea of promoting to the head office sounds great, but when they tell you that you'll make more money, they neglect to tell you that you won't actually get a raise, you'll just be working more hours.

Pros

Above minimum wage pay, usually work with good people, easy to get along with, additional $2.50 per hour on weekends, bonus check called IPS (Instant Profit Sharing) that you get if you work 1,000 hours in a year and your percentage begins at 2.5% of your gross income that year, and it goes up 2.5% every year that you make 1,000 hours. Whether you are part-time, or full-time they do that for everyone, as long as you put in 1,000 hours usually by December 15th. So being in college it was nice! Paid for a spring break trip from my IPS check, so that was awesome!

Cons

You are in a "man's world" every day and have to deal with dirty, rude contractors at times. If you are a woman working there you will more than likely get "hit on" a lot, but if you can ignore it and keep working then it's not too bad. Does not happen that often. On weekends you have families that shop there a lot, so you get more decent, respectful customers.
