Pros

As a part-time college student menards paid well and allowed me a flexible schedule.

Cons

During my employment has never been a day that I did not dread going to work, and never once did I feel valued.

Pros

Great coworkers! Fun place to work when management is not up your butt.

Cons

Once you turn management, it tends to take your life away.

Pros

Many stores allow you to get a good amount of overtime, which can be nice financially.

Cons

Do not pay enough for the position you work, only through overtime do you make a reasonable amount of money. Menards would rather continue to keep having a revolving door for all positions below Department Manager, than pay their employees competitively. Some weeks had to work 55-60 hours, would prefer between 40-45 range. Retail scheduling, so your hours will be all over the place.
