So much wasted potential

Pros

Some of the most talented people I have ever worked with. People care so much and believe in the mission of what they believe Meow Wolf can be. The idea of Meow Wolf is so much more than what it is and people are aware of the potential and give so much to make it possible.

Cons

Leadership. The company puts people in roles that don’t make sense, elevating people who are good at managing up rather than leading with any capability. The good leaders regularly get shifted out with layoffs and reorganizations while the quality of those left behind at the top diminishes. There is a lot of ego where people believe the company is further along than it is. They spend ghastly amounts on consultants who don’t get the culture.
