Empty Promises

Pros

Making new things that haven't been done before is always exciting.

Cons

Living in a constant state of fear is never exciting. Don't get mad when your "covid firings" are revealed as the long-standing business plan. This company is just another capitalist machine, not unlike any other company out there. You spend your days executing the ideas of five under-qualified people who don't even know your name.

Pros

Meow Wolf has a huge vision and is wildly ambitious. There are a lot of talented people who work there and the company is recruiting increasingly skilled SMEs with specific industry LBE experience.

Cons

It's difficult to make dreams a reality.

Pros

Great benefits, flexibility, co-workers and ideas.

Cons

This is the definition of a disorganized company. It’s totally disheartening to be honest, as the company that I thought I had joined seemed very different from the outside. There’s no direction, no goals, no mission, no values, and I believe no future if this continues. Majority of the local workforce is gone, and has been replaced with an outside contracted company which really rubbed me the wrong way. The idea of working for a local company that was involved in the community was exciting, but this company that exists now is too focused on expansion to care about being local to Santa Fe at all. All that’s left is management and contractors that live in Florida. The company expanded too quickly and is trying to do too many things at once while not taking any steps to improve or aid what’s falling apart in front of them. There’s no room for advancement, no money for merit increases, no money for anything. Employees are frustrated everywhere and completely burnt out. Morality is low and it’s truly heartbreaking as this company could have been really awesome to be an employee at. If you enjoy constantly floundering trying to keep your head above water this is the place for you.
