      Got hit hard by recession, but still a leader in the field

      Pros

      The chance to work w. leaders in the field, reputation of company is excellent, salaries relative to other HR consulting firms, colleagues are generally decent people

      Cons

      Very comp and benefits focused, resulting in many lay-offs in other groups during recession, slow career progression, constant reorganization, work-life balance varies greatly

      Pros

      It's a great place to start a career and get some experience in the corporate world. A lot of red tape, and bad communication from the top.

      Cons

      Once you gain your skills it can be a pain to gain the right experience to advance your personal skills or to advance within the company. Although communication from the top is bad, the direct managers try to help anyway they can (though sometimes their hands are tied)

      Pros

      - You will get a lot of exposure very quickly. If you can swim (versus sink) in the environment, you'll have th opportunity to obtain a great wealth of knowledgy from some of the industry's best subject-matter experts.

      Cons

      Senior management is absolutely terrible, along with the company's internal structure. Nothing is communicated clearly to employees and turnover is very high within the firm.
