Being a global company with many different departments, it's easy to have a long term career at Mercer and find various roles.

Cons

Very senior folks at Mercer get paid well, but everyone below the principle level are disgruntled with pay and how pay is determined. Senior management routinely conducts firm-wide surveys and shares the fact that this is prevalent - but never does anything to change things.

job security, training of entry level staff, perks from carriers, can't think of any others right now unfortunately - there has been a lot of turnover

Cons

no work/life balance, no clear direction for the organization from senior leadership, differential treatment of staff and sense of fairness in treatment of promotion decisions is not there
