Pros

Easy pace, laid back, friendly people to work with, and they love potlucks.

Cons

No advancement, low pay, lack of technology, ethics are somewhat questionable. George Joseph needs to either retire or get with the 21st Century and invest by updating the technology to be more in line with the industry, he is very out of touch.

Pros

The people really make you feel at home and are very approachable. You are always encouraged to move up if you work hard and are rewarded for your hard work.

Cons

If you go to claims, then things get really bad if the branch becomes understaffed. They make you do at least 3 times the work until they fill in the empty seats with new adjusters. You are still expected to meet company goals regardless of the understaffing. Depending on which claims branch you go into after training, expect to do at least twice the work once you arrive. It's worse if you become a collision adjuster rather than a comprehensive adjuster, and the pay difference is only a couple of bucks.

Pros

Good opportunities for beginning a career. Has good training classes, benefits and keeps up to date with CDI requirements and industry standards.

Cons

Hard to have a work-life balance when staff is being reduced. Leadership with upper management falters. Moral suffers due to lack of trust at this times. There have been much better leadership in prior years. Difficult to switch from Underwriting to Claims or vice versa. Not much room to move up within the company.
