Pros

The company as a whole is a great organization. There are many opportunities because the company is growing so rapidly. The people and managers are great. Very fast paced environment so the days go by fast.

Cons

Systems are the biggest challenge. MRP system (ORACLE) is in need of updating which creates a lot of manual (unnecessary) work.

Thanks very much for sharing your feedback and your thoughtful suggestions on where we can improve. Our first priority has been to consolidate systems so we are all working on a common platform. As you noted, sometimes that takes priority over other enhancements. We are working on enhancements to our ERP environment, which will expand the MRP functionality. Additionally we are working to streamline the user interface and implement more automation reducing manual transactions. Phase one of these enhancements will be deployed by July of this year. If you have more feedback or would like more details, please feel free to reach out to me directly. I would welcome your input. Thank you, Jamie Ryan Mercury CIO

Pros

Mercury is executing against a unique Next Generation Business Model. No one else in Defense or Aerospace is doing this. Combining driving innovation while investing our own R&D money on behalf of our customers, driving open systems architectures, and leveraging our industry leading security solutions.

Cons

All of this requires top talent. The company continues to drive to bring in the best and brightest engineering and other talent in all areas needed to support the business.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your perspective; it is important to get feedback from our leadership team. Our next generation business model is a cornerstone of our success and we are proud of our commitment to providing innovation that matters to our customers and the warfighter, to being a trusted partner to our customers by investing heavily in R&D and to leading the charge toward open systems. Talent acquisition is another area we are committed to excelling in. We already have some of the best and brightest, and we are dedicated to continuing that trend. Despite the highly competitive market we are confident in our ability to attract and retain top talent through our total rewards philosophy.
