Pros

Mercy Health has good hours for professionals with families. It allows for a good balance between the two.

Cons

Mercy cannot compete in terms of salary with their competitors in the area. I witnessed countless employees go elsewhere and make much more. They also fail to address serious issues such as racism and bullying of staff members. Management alsays sides with management. There is little room for growth both in terms of career goals and salary. Benefits are being cut continuously despite the fact that Mercy has experienced continual growth in revenue ssveral years consecutively. Recently they cut many employees PTO as well as took away their bonuses.

Pros

Good and friendly staff that become friends outside of work.

Cons

ER never had enough staff during night shifts. Expected to do more than possible, low wages. Catty management. Long shifts. Hard to take breaks.
