Pros

Remote work, great learning experience

Cons

You don't actually make a decision on corrective action. You make suggestions and the manager gets the final say.

Pros

Initially when it was St Rita's there was integrity and superb employment not so much any more. Met some great patients and employees.

Cons

Toxic managers, low pay, expensive benefits and yearly raises are non-existent due to healthcare premiums increase every year, you do not get ahead. Unpaid lunches, but you don't get a lunch, large workloads, favoritism and office politics/promotions over work ethic. You have to figure out things yourself as managers are incompetent.

Pros

Working at Mercy has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my career. The people are genuinely kind, collaborative and committed — not only to caring for patients but caring for each other. Leaders really do put the mission at the center of everything — decisions, priorities, culture and how we serve our communities. I’ve also felt supported in my professional growth with opportunities to learn new things and challenge myself. I've been with the organization for more than 15 years, and that's common at Mercy. People stick around! I appreciate how my fellow caregivers show up with purpose and compassion every day. It’s rare to find a workplace where the values on the wall actually align with how people behave, but Mercy lives it.

Cons

Like any large healthcare system, things can move slowly at times, and cross-functional alignment takes patience. But the intention behind decisions is always grounded in our mission.
