Pros

Ability to use state of the art equipment to perform high quality diagnostic imaging to help our patients. Many good co-workers

Cons

Sub par compensation. Mediocre benefits. Heavy micromanagement that hinders best performance of talented staff. A pattern of nepotism in some areas that create unjust relationships which tend to propagate problems with preferential treatment . Turnover is high and I believe is favored because it keeps the average hourly rates low. If you are a veteran tech at the top of the pay range be prepared to be pressured harder than necessary in order to force new turnover. This is the new Mercy Way, which is far different from the approach of management back when we were St. John's .
