Pros

The mission of Mercy is real and allows individuals to serve in a ministry that serves many communities.

Cons

Healthcare in general remains behind the innovation curve and rarely allows for new product or process advancement. Mercy is not a leader within the healthcare field.

Pros

A caring place and good for the community. Mid level managers and directors are caring and dedicated. Pay and benefits are average.

Cons

Poor upper level management. Company seems to foster a somewhat discriminatory hiring/promoting process. PRN employees not given adequate notification when not needed. High turnover rate because of a lack of communication regarding opportunities.

Pros

Overall mission is outstanding and something to be proud to be a part of.

Cons

HR is terrible and walks the line of what is legal and what is not frequently... stepping right over it when pushed by management.
