Room for growth, great coworkers, depending on the specialty - excellent physicians

Cons

Poor pay, poor staff retention. Iowa in itself just needs to re-evaluate nurses pay as an entire state. No one will continue to stay and work there unless they live comfortably with a spouse who helps support them.
