Pros

This is a small hospital, making it easy to get to know everyone, from doctors & nurses, to cafeteria workers and environmental. Everyone is willing to give and take to get the best outcome for the patient.

Cons

Again, this is a small hospital and city, where a lot of employees are lifetime locals. So, there can be some drama among the ranks.

not good

Pros

pay is okay, people are nice

Cons

Management is not good, a lot of turn over. Very siloed department. No reason to make a "career" at MercyOne, as there is no benefit for longevity. Required to work all three shifts (sometimes in the same week) Benefit costs are increasing with Trinity acquisition.
