A Company in Clear Decline Where Great Employees Are Left to Carry the Damage

Pros

The only real highlight is the customers. You get to work with some genuinely great people across the country, and they’re often the best part of the job by far. Work/life balance can be decent depending on your team, and the workplace offers some flexibility, though this tends to vary and shouldn’t be mistaken for strong company support.

Cons

Where do I even start? This company is deeply mismanaged, and it shows in every part of the business. Many employees and former employees describe Meridian as a "sinking ship". Leadership is unprofessional, reactive, and completely out of touch with employees. There’s little to no respect for the people actually doing the work, and it’s clear employees are viewed as disposable. I’ve personally seen very tenured employees being let go with no severance and no PTO payout. Loyalty here means nothing. The product suite is disjointed and poorly positioned, with clear gaps that are never fully addressed. Ongoing support issues only make things worse, creating constant friction for both employees and customers and ultimately impacting customer satisfaction. It’s incredibly difficult to confidently sell or stand behind what’s being offered. Meanwhile, their biggest competitor continues to take customers and it’s easy to see why. Compensation is below market, especially considering the expectations placed on employees. You’re asked to do more with less, in an environment that offers little support and even less appreciation. What’s most frustrating is that the company presents itself far better externally than it actually operates internally. Don’t be fooled, the negative reviews are all over here for good reason. HR will likely respond to this review saying they care, in reality feedback goes nowhere, concerns about management are “heard” but dismissed, and their total priority is protecting the company, not the employees.
