Pros

The ability to work a lot of overtime !

Cons

Downside, you can be an excellent employee with years of loyalty and go above & beyond and MERIDIAN will NOT compensate you for your dedication & yrs of service! No seniority, NO RAISES FOR ANY OF THE DSP, but ALL OF THE LEADS & MANAGEMENT GET RAISES! OVER WORKED & EXTREMELY UNDER PAID

We appreciate your feedback about working as a Direct Support Professional. We do value all of our employees and appreciate all the hard work each DSP does. Meridian Services does review wages as well as does COLA (cost of living adjustments). With our COLA's we receive these increases from the State and pass these along in the form of increase to our staff. Unfortunately, we have not had an increase recently but continue to advocate to the State for increases within Social Services.
