Pros

Please Note: This is a great place for developers. My “Cons” section does not represent the Developers or SDCs . Other roles, be cautious. - Many great managers who truly care about employees! (Below VP level) - Health Care is pretty decent - Experience for building a resume - Waffles and Lunch once a month - Organized events - Good work-life balance

Cons

I find it very disheartening that MeridianLink respondents would not denounce the way a current employee talks about previous employees- “naysayers … never gave the company a chance and brought down morale with their negativity”. This shows a lack of integrity exemplifies the MeridianLink culture of “You’re with us or You’re the Problem”. Sometimes people are not a culture fit, sometimes they are mistreated. This moved my rating from 2 stars to 1. Executive Management does not like to be challenged, does not promote/reward education and stifles innovation. They fear that education will result in people leaving for better opportunities. The company exploits young workers right out of college, making them feel like they are part of a family and that their sacrifice will be rewarded in the end. Many of the employees who left could see the big picture and took roles with 40-60% higher pay, more responsibility, tools to do their jobs and benefits far superior to those offered by MeridianLink. I believe the CEO is empathetic to his clients and employees and is very intelligent. However, I have had to mark that I disapprove of him because of his inability and/or inaction, in identifying and dealing with a toxic executive that is resulting in many great and innovative people leaving. Other points of Mention: - Technology is old, not very interesting. (VB was great in the 90s) - 2 weeks of vacation, 3 after 5 years is lower than average - No upward mobility, only title changes (sometimes) - 401k match is only 3% with 5-year vesting - Have to jump through hoops to freelance or work anywhere else

Thanks for pointing out some of the many pros of working at ML, and for sharing some of your concerns. We feel we have a strong culture of integrity and respect, and, unless discriminatory, would not denounce any reviewer's opinion or suggest they don't have the right to express their opinions. We have many programs available for employee development. We hope you'll consider taking advantage of our education assistance benefit. We help to pay for classes relevant to any role in the company, regardless of your current role, and include reimbursement for associated costs like books and parking.

Pros

Many people in the organization are nice, caring people that are trying their best to do a good job.

Cons

- Not encouraged to grow talents specific to my role with education outside of the company. - Below industry standard pay - Calloused management structure, very top-down with decision making. - Uneven satisfaction between roles in the company. Some are very satisfied, many are less than satisfied. - Not much incentive to go above and beyond the responsibilities of your role.
