Excellent Medical Device Company
Pros
Wonderful leadership within the Engineering group. Merit is small enough where you have direct, even daily access to Vice Presidents (who usually take the time to know you by name) and mid-level managers. But the company is also large enough where there is room to grow and move around. Clean environment. Co-workers are generally very friendly and helpful. Cafeteria has some wonderful food. Easy to get help on projects if needed, and there are a lot of people who are willing to show you the ropes when you are beginning. Good culture.
Cons
Slightly above average starting pay, but nothing to make you really consider them over other engineering opportunities. Routing reports/protocols can be a drag as it is still done manually, and can be difficult to find people at their desks.
