Meritage is a great place to work. They value their employees and embrace their core values which reflects on the company culture. Given the current environment we are in the leadership team has been moving forward strategically and being transparent. What more could you want?

Amazing Culture and a Great Builder

Pros

The culture is amazing! Meritage Homes is an employee-centered and a great innovated builder. Everyone is a a part of the team, both internally as employees and externally with vendors. The core values are being adhered to and celebrated each and every day from top down. The team is extremely supportive, locally, regionally as well as nationally. Covid has taught the company to be flexible with employees, hence the newest benefit program of MTH-Flex was introduce. As a company, Meritage Homes has all the amazing program in place. Couldn't work for a better company.

Cons

With the office moved to a new location recently, the office support team has to drive further north which is the only downside to being at Meritage Homes. However, with MTH Flex benefit program, the team doesn't have to be in the office everyday which help some. With the growing pain of healthcare cost, Benefit Team should review the high deductible plans and modify some. Lastly, PTO policy need to be review and update...more competitor are giving 3 weeks PTO and 1 week sick leave after hire - let stay competitive!
