Meritage cares for their employees and their well-being. They want us to succeed and I know that each and every person, starting from the top, has our backs and best interest at heart. I have truly never worked for a more caring and genuine company than Meritage

The work culture is wonderful. There is a Team environment here, and the builder does not have unrealistic expectations on closing on an exact dates. The closings need to happen but the customer experience and service are huge, which I love.

Cons

You don't get all your vacation time up front, you earn as you go each pay period

Pros

Meritage is extremely welcoming and supportive. Every single person has been nothing but kind and helpful since my start with the company. Meritage offers competitive pay and incentives, keeping up with the market. Although I do not utilize the health benefits, they have really good options there as well. I have seen more promotions in a month than I have with all of my other companies combined! They really pride themselves on internal promotion/movement to make sure employees are happy. A lot of roles have the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule as well; that flexibility is great.

Cons

Having a chance to connect with others outside my division would be great. I know Meritage is working on this, as they are now having all-hands meetings (in-person) twice a year which is exciting!
