Pros

Well they try to get you home upon request

Cons

They don't car about the driver and how he feels and we're the back bone of the company. Just turned the trucks back down to 63 mph, they don't answer the phones in an emergency,it's a lot. Catch one of the drivers and ask him. Don't take my word for it! I'm currently looking for another job right now, almost anything to leave this place!

Pros

Mesilla Valley Transportation takes very good care of their equipment. The line mechanics are first rate, treat drivers with respect and courtesy.

Cons

Mesilla Valley Transportation, I feel, has spotty dispatch. (I suppose all trucking companies experience this. Sometimes showed favoritism, it seemed.

Pros

This place is very impersonal. You're a number, not a name. My daughter was on life support and I needed to get home so they would tell me "take this load to here and since your that close take this one that way." After begging for 10 days I finally dropped my trailer in Wyoming and bobtailed to my family 19 hours away. Since I didn't pick up another load and drop in in Denver for them they made me pay for the fuel home. I decided it would be best to drop my tractor at their yard in Albuquerque which was where I had been trying to get to, and cleaned it out! They then called me a week later asking where I was at and if my daughters leg was better! She was in a coma, nothing to do with her leg! They don't pay what they say either. It's an all around shady place to work!!! If dispatch and payroll were better then maybe it could be tolerable. But when everyone wants to be chief and there aren't any Indians, that's an appetite for destruction!!!

Cons

Everything about this place is a downside! The ONLY positive I can say is I got a new mattress for my tractor.
