MSD is a good place to work. There are several department that you would be able to move if you don't like your current position. People are very nice, and helpful. In some departments there are more room in growth than the other and you can get promoted faster. But it all comes up to you to know what do you want from your job.

Cons

In some department because they are doing research based on grant, it might takes longer for you to get the promotion that you deserve because of the tight budget.
