Incredibly impactful work, the social service department really cares about the work that they do and create change for their clients - you feel good going to work everyday knowing you are contributing to the wellbeing of vulnerable New Yorkers.

Cons

Difficult leadership, new CEO is difficult to work with and does not relate to the clients the org works with.

Absolutely Nothing. The only thing this place has going for it is holidays off...which you can find this and more at better non-profits!

Cons

Everything, Especially the salaries. This place is so far behind in salaries it should be a illegal. Plus the medical is too high and the vacation is below industry standard.
