Pros

I admire the passion and expertise among other staff members. In general, people display good character and a strong work ethic. I appreciate the internal hiring, commitment to keeping healthcare costs down, and the expansion of maternity/paternity leave.

Cons

Expansion of the work from home policy. In-office time does has not facilitated more human connection as most communications are over email and meetings are conducted over teams or zoom, even during the anchor day.

Pros

That hard work is recognized and never goes unseen. I value the work Met Council does as a whole and the ways that my position can help the bigger picture.

Cons

I do not think there is anything Met Council can do right now to improve, overall I think everything runs well.

Pros

Meaningful work; most coworkers are good to work with. C-suite continues to work for increased staff benefits. Opportunities to improve the nonprofit space as a whole.

Cons

Better cross-department communication; more visibility/clarity when new hires join; why don’t we have a staff directory? Often already overworked people end up covering for multiple positions when staff leave.
