Pros

Work itself is interesting; work teams are generally pretty good.

Cons

As mentioned in other reviews, management will make or break your career here. If you have good management (unlikely), then things will go well. If you have poor management (likely), things will not go as well. Management has a tendency to nit-pick, bully, micro-manage, and go out of their way to not help. Annual performance reviews are generally a horrible experience because management focuses on small things you did “wrong” as opposed to your accomplishments. HR will not help you if you have a manager problem.

-Steady -Weekends off, some holidays -Job responsibilities are easy and don’t follow you home

Cons

-Constant micromanaging -Limited upward mobility -Not presented with tools to fix problems -Outdated information systems -PTO nearly impossible to use when desired -Company undervalues employees -Maddening monotony
