Pros

Corp. office location. Decent place to work if you're 50+ and are related to the family. Few talented workers who are hardworking and nice. ( feel sorry, but they will be leaving soon)

Cons

A lot of cons:- (refer to all old reviews, they're right) If you need career growth, NEVER look at MetTel. You'll be stuck in one position for years. Benefits are bad. Worst PTO, you have to time-in and time-out. Insurance so expensive that it's better to be homeless and top it all, salary is a joke. All positive reviews are written by top management (thats true) and yes, the CEO isn't welcoming at all ( refer to previous posts) HR/payroll management is so inept that they won't help you in any way The route to career growth in this company is only if you're related to the family in some way or the other. Nepotism/favoritism is over the roof. Boring telco company. Quiet corp office coupled with good location. A pro has thus become a con. Top management will use you, lie to you on your face and some day, might throw you out. Seen a few talented people experiencing this. (luckily that didn't happen to me. Before they could say/do anything, I left this mess) The company has no potential. Need a small paycheck, go there. Need a career with good paycheck/benefits, keep looking elsewhere.

Pros

The corporate office is in a great location and some of the employees are absolutely wonderful!

Cons

Too many to share but here we go! -The interview process is a joke! -They will lie straight to your face! -Unrealistic expectations! -Most of the management is family or family friends! -The benefits suck and are way too expensive! -Vacation time is a joke! -You have to clock in every day! Last time I had to do this I was 18!!!! -HR is a joke and do not trust them! You really have no one to go to if you need to complain! -All they care about is the next deal not taking care of their current customers unless there's an upsell opportunity! Sales will close a deal and end up spending 3 months making sure the customer is happy. You have to sit on every deal you close so don't lose the customer! -The CEO walks the floor all of the time making sure you are working and not chatting with your colleague. The office is eerily too quiet! Kind of creepy! -You will be micro-managed! -All of the positive reviews on glassdoor are from current employees who are told to post positive reviews or management! -They want you to sell all of their products with zero training. I am not kidding, there is NO training. And when you ask for help from management they point you to someone else. Some of the managers know nothing about VoiP, SIP etc. -The favoritism is off of the charts. I have never seen anything like this before! -I could keep going on and on, but you get the picture!

Pros

The only good thing about this company is it is truly diverse, all ages, races, religions. It's unfortunate that some talented people got stuck here. It won't be long before they all leave.

Cons

Lack of company culture, Horrendously expensive health benefits, Reviews written by upper management on Glassdoor, The lies they tell to your face, The joke of an interview process, The embarrassing level of stinginess when they make excuses to stretch out the time before giving you salary bump for a promotion you worked hard for, The lack of transparency, The lack of understanding the value of their people, The complete disregard for morale, The nepotism, The politics, The way the heads of each department is eager to throw the employees of opposing departments under the bus at any given chance, Stupid policies, Lack of trust for employees, A poor organizational structure because you're too cheap to hire more people.
