Decent opportunity for a new grad, if you're more established, not so much

Pros

There are awesome coworkers, nice views of lower manhattan, job isn't too hard, also free filtered ice/water in the kitchen.

Cons

Poor benefits, health insurance is TOO costly, 401ks are too much, and low salary. Living in NYC is expensive enough as it is, I cannot survive on 30k per year. Also, theres no formal orientation and no time and a half over time pay. Also 2 sick days per year that doesn't roll over? Seriously? Also there is high turnover with some chance for advancement.

Pros

They paid the sales rep weekly commissions

Cons

It's all about selling new accounts... no support once the accounts run into service issues, which happens often. Sales rep takes the brunt of the customer's rant and has to constantly keep after the customer service division to get things accomplished.

Nothing. Nice views of Governers island.

Cons

No room for growth. The company isn’t doing anything innovating or interesting. Boring Telco company. They love to micro manage too.
