Pros

MetaPack has a friendly atmosphere which I have and do recommend to friends when it has been appropriate. The environment here is for the most-part fairly stress-free and motivated. Semi-regular optional social events have and continue to give me a suitable opportunity to better get to know my colleagues and to come to count some among my friends. The working climate is steady and realistic, goals do sometimes change a little but with continued clarity and forethought, it has not been an issue. I've encountered no issues with any other member of the team here, which could not be readily resolved by calm and well-reasoned discourse.

Cons

In any organization with as many moving parts as MetaPack communication continues to be a key driver to success, and I think if there is any avenue which this business can improve it must be in transparent communication. I have no specific recommendation to that end, but I think it one where there is always room for improvement and also one which will grow to become more critical as the company grows at an ever more rapid rate.

Not much room for career progression Work was not very challenging Seemed like employees were just put into roles which needed filling as opposed to what they signed up for

Attrition over 30%, NPS -40, tight finances (no pay rises and limited backfill), no product roadmap, poor senior management.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review and sharing your views, though we would like to correct a few of your statements. Our employee attrition is much lower than you state and typical for London while our NPS is also not as low as you suggest. We have an annual pay review each April, and we did give increases in April 2017, though as you would expect we review the salaries of all staff and award increases as appropriate. We are also actively recruiting to back-fill every vacancy including a newly created role for a Global Head of Product which will help drive our product roadmap and strategy.
